Do away with tin cans and cartons and shift over to flexible coffee packaging! With the invention of the one way degassing valve technology, coffee packaging has changed for the better. Because freshly roasted coffee beans release carbon dioxide, one way degassing valves allow air out from within the bag without letting outside air in. Never worry about your coffee bags bursting while keeping your coffee products fresh and tightly sealed inside the pouch. Flexible packaging bags – stand up pouches, side gusseted bags and flat pouches, in combination with a one way degassing valve are specifically made for coffee packaging. Take advantage of the flexibility of these bags and pouches and the many benefits including lower freight costs and less storage space needs for your business.
ONE WAY DEGASSING VALVE DESIGN AND USAGE
One way degassing valves were designed to allow air and pressure to be released from within the bag while preventing air from getting in. While they can be used for other food products (such as nuts, teas, grains and confectioneries), the most common application is for freshly roasted coffee. Valves allow for packaging coffee beans immediately after roasting, keeping the beans fresh and extending their shelf life.
STANDARD VALVE LOCATION ON COFFEE BAGS
Unless otherwise specified, valves for all our stock items will be installed at the standard location. Standard locations are listed below.
Custom Valve Locations
Standard valve locations are measured from the top of the bag/pouch to the top of the valve, centered.
Certain restrictions may apply.
